Taking the Party from Africa to Europe

Besides raising the roof, electronic music producers Aero Manyelo, Spoek Mathambo and artist/vocalist Manteiga are united in a mission to connect the African diaspora through house music from the continent. To do so, they need to take their sound to the skies.

Off the back of their steamy set in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, electronic trio Batuk headed north for a month-long European tour through 11 cities. So far they’ve left the audience elated and sweaty in Stockholm, Warsaw and Paris but not without checking in from the road to let INDIE in on the madness behind the scenes and on stage. Even through WhatsApp, their energy is infectious.
